I don't know what it is about the Botanical selections but all have been super fun while super relaxing to build - almost like you go into some sort of Zen meditation. The flowers are simple but lovely and make beautiful additions to the other sets. Being a particular fan of the actual lotus flower, I did find myself wishing that there was more to the set. The set here is a lovely representation of the early to blossom stages of the lotus bloom but equally as appealing are its later stages where the yellow cone in the center of the flower becomes this large greenish-yellow almost fleshy looking disc with seeds that look more like a science fiction monster with multiple eyes! Even later, after the seeds have been ejected, this disc takes on a brown wooden texture, like the Dried Autumn Flower Centerpiece set, with these lovely empty sockets. Maybe an idea for a future set. I would certainly buy it!

It was a relatively easy build but still very fun. It is great that the flowers are different each and they look superb in any setting with any vase (suggestion on a tall slender one). Like the true lotus, simple but beautiful. It is my favourite out of all the available flower builds of this collection (not the botanicals collections).

Loving these news sets that are just a few flowers - super affordable and so cute.
I think personally I’m loving the sunflowers I got more, but the lotus is super pretty too. Colors are great. Love that the third flower is a bud to give variation. The stems are super long! Now just need to find a good vase to fit them - kind of in between my normal vase sizes just by themselves.
