We've had a number of different sets of pans over the years and while not the most expensive, this set is probably the nicest. My wife used to sell Pampered Chef and we bought some stainless steel pans. Food stuck like crazy. We've had a set of real Calphalon (anodized exterior but without the non-stick interior). They were pretty good, but also had a tendency for food to stick. Then we had set of the "Green Pan" stuff with the ceramic non-stick. Until now, they were my favorite, although with time, food has begun to stick to them too. They were also the off-white interior and stained. These new Gotham Steel Professional pans are fantastic! The quality and attention to detail is outstanding. They're nearly identical to the Calphalon we used to have (with the added feature of the copper/ceramic non-stick interior) and are much heavier and better quality than the standard Gotham Steel pans we're checked out in the department store. We still use a bit of oil when cooking and eggs just slide out. The color is absolutely beautiful. The pans were extremely well packaged. The lids fit perfectly. While less expensive than either of the "high-end" brands we've owned, they are as good or better in every way. Well done, Gotham Steel.

This cookware set far exceeded my expectations. They truly are non stick. They clean up easily by hand or dishwasher. The metal is thicker than I expected giving a sturdy feel but not so heavy as to be unmanageable by arthritic hands and fingers. The frying/saute pans have a more flat cooking surface than my previous cookware.
The price was excellent and would be good even if not on sale.
I have only used the set for about 3 weeks but so far I am quite pleased. My only issue is that the metal handle on the lid can get hot with prolonged cooking so the user needs to be cautious

Great Kitchen Set, gold inside and dark gray outside. Frying on these pans is just a pleasure, nothing stick to it. I had a non-stick sets before and this set is superior. It is very important to me that this set is free from harmful chemicals like PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, and PFOS, promoting a healthy, toxin-free environment. I also like that it has enough items that I need for cooking - pots and pans. When I read manual, it said dishwasher safe, but it is not recommended for frequent use, which is not a problem for me. I just wipe up pan from fat with paper towel and rinse, and it is clean again.

In August of 2023 I bought a new place. I got new pots and pans from Sams. They are lovely and so well made. And it never even crossed my aging mind that those enamel covered xast iron pieces were going to strain my wrists. I took a travel medical worker assignment in December and the place I went had these exact pans.
