Amazing set of pots and pans!
JodiVolcano· Review provided by williams-sonoma.com · June 22, 2024
I have had this set since Christmas and LOVE IT! I gave away all my nonstick stuff and I had ordered this set from Amazon on a Black Friday special but as of the week before Christmas Amazon hadn't shipped it and I couldn't get them to tell me the status of the order.

I found the set on Williams Sonoma and ordered it right away. I paid less than Amazon's Black Friday deal. I have been using this set for 6 months and the quality is amazing. It cleans very easily. You do need to let the pan get hot before you add the food. I have burned several things and these pans cleaned up SUPER easy!

I don't understand all the conversation about pans showing wear. Who cares? If anyone came into my kitchen and started inspecting my pots and pans I would tell them to get out of my house. I have used the large frying pan countless times, sometimes mulitple times in a day and thrown it in the dishwasher and it's still shiny and looks new. There are a few scratches and spots by now but I want to USE my pots and pans. I do not expect them to look like I just took them out of the box. I have been cooking completely from scratch in all my food so sometimes I need to throw a pan in the oven to finish cooking or keep warm while I finish dinner and all these pots and pans work like champs.

Most recipes I deglaze pans so there really isn't much hassle in the clean up because nothing sticks to these pans.

I would more than 100% recommend these pots and pans to anyone. The even heat and searing is amazing. Thank you Williams Sonoma for shipping to my remote area of Hawaii and having great sales. Thank you All Clad for my stunning kitchen pots and pans!
Pick Another Brand

I just want to say that the staff at WS were quite pleasant to work with. All Clad is the problem.

The rim of the pots have visible fluting. Not a functional issue, but I’m not about to make excuses for them at this price level. Stainless pots that cost half as much such as MadeIn don’t have this problem - if they wanted to they would polish it to a smooth edge - the lip is the thickest part of the pot anyway. All Clad used to mark things as factory seconds for the smallest blemishes. Now, we get half finished products.

The other thing is how easily it pits. A small circle of pitting has developed after one use of soft boiling eggs, in a spot where the protein stuck to the pan. Indicates to me inferior quality of the stainless steel.

A common trope is for manufacturers to cover their bases and say not to throw salt in before the water comes to a boil. Well I’ve been doing that with numerous cheaper stainless pots and pans for years and nothing a pit to speak of. This pot started before it even seen a grain of salt.

In summary, not only do I not recommend this set, I would actively turn anyone away from purchasing anything All Clad. If I could redo, I certainly would not purchase All Clad again.

So disappointed. After a lot of research and getting a new induction stove, we decided to go with this set wich is supposed to be the best of the best. The set came and we where so excited, looks great. Started cooking with it and noticed that every single lids where leaking from the rivets that hold the handles.......all the lids have badly pressed rivets....contacted all-clad and they wanted me to send all the lids back telling me it would take weeks?? Not at that price thank you. Returned it to Costco and figured what are the chances, they are the best in the world, ordered a new set.waited for the new set, before returning the old, same thing but even worse on the lid rivets, some of them with visible shaft?? And this time the 8qt pot had a big diffect on the lip with a ding and a visible line on the wall like the end of a roll....same thing all-clad wanted me to send it and wait for weeks while they inspect it......ordered a3rd set, and same thing again. This brand has a serious quality control issue at the factory in Pennsylvania and a defective rivet machine or employee for the lids. Returned it.
CHECK YOUR LIDS AND SPEAK UP. slide a paper between the rivets and the lids, or boil some liquid for a time and you will have liquid on top of your lid. Just unacceptable for such a brand name...........
