February 26, 2024This was the second refurbished 11" ipad pro with m1 chip in space gray that I attempted to purchase from BestBuy, and unfortunately I have to return both.
The first one looks decent, but Face ID hardware had issues, so I end up returning.
The second one had scratches all over the iPad when I received it in the box, so I didn't bother setting it up before I returned it.
Overall I don't think this would qualify as "Refurbished". BestBuy is just selling used ipad pros, throwing in new third party accessories (charging brick and cable) and call them refurbished.
At the time of purchase, these goes for $620, which is only $10 cheaper than purchasing refurbished ipad pro with the same exact specs from Apple.com. What you get from Apple is a refinished ipad that looks brand new, and a battery with 100% health, brand new Apple accessories (charging brick and cable), and a sealed apple refurbished retail box, and a 90-day warranty from Apple.
In my humble opinion, spend $10 more and buy it from Apple.com until BestBuy changes their process of certifying these used iPads as refurbished.

September 21, 2023I dont have too many Apple products just because I don't really love the interface of Apple. I did get this for school and because of the apple pencil and I have to say I do love it. It has pressure sensitivity for the pencil, it is a great size, it sounds great and the brightness on it is decent. I will say that if you use it for too long, even at a lower screen brightness, it will start to get pretty hot so that is a little bit of a downside. I mean it's a fairly large piece of technology with a big bright screen (even when dimmed) so I'm not really counting against it for that reason for that. Battery does die relatively quickly when using it, I kind of expect that. But when not in use it will stay charged for days. Definitely, definitely if you're going to be doing any kind of writing or painting or what not you need a paper like screen protector. otherwise your pencil, no matter what brand you have, just slips and slides all over the screen and it just is a difficult to write with. Overall, do I think this was worth the $1,200 I paid for it, I'm not sure. It definitely depends on what you're going to use it for. If you're a student and your huge into taking notes definitely worth looking at. If you're an artist that loves to draw via technological devices, for sure procreate it is amazing. If you're an avid planner, I could see it being useful. But for most things, you probably could get an Android device and it be just as amazing with more customization features.

March 24, 2023Looks and works as though it's brand-new. No cosmetic damage. The iPad appeared to be wiped clean and factory-reset, as expected. The seller even left their glass screen protector on the device (which had no scuffs or scratches) and sent 2 spare glass screen protectors that came in the kit that they purchased. Very easy process from final bid to receipt. Thank you! About the device itself: 11in M1 iPad Pro is very fast and snappy! Handles multitasking well, which is streamlined with the Stage Manager feature. It doesn't seem to pair well with my Intel MacBook Air (they just don't get along), but pairs quickly and seamlessly with my M1 Mac Mini, both in terms of file transfer and the Sidecar feature. The Apple Pencil can get finicky with some third party apps (understandable), but provides a major improvement in 'quality of life' when using the more popular apps. I definitely don't regret this purchase. Disclaimer: I have both a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 lite (*gasp*) and this iPad. I love both devices and still use both daily since I have to use Windows, Android, and Apple devices between my work requirements and at home. Having both makes navigating each ecosystem much easier, so no regrets!

December 20, 2024First time actually using a iPad for myself. Using it now for an itch I've had for doing art again. Pencil works great (though very confusing to figure out which one cil works with which model). Works as expected, snappy interface. Unit did have some scratches but that's expected for a refurbished device. Plenty of apps to try on the art world because of the 500lb gorilla that Apple is in the mobile space.
Definitely look for a screen protector and case asap as these things are not cheap and definitely not that durable.
