This frypan is gorgeous with a ceramic non-stick coating which makes cooking with it and cleaning it a breeze. Apart from the cooking surface, the rest of the pan is made of high quality stainless steel that seems durable. The pan is small which is both a pro and a con. The size makes it light enough to easily handle and cook a small amount of food for one or two people with an even heat distribution. However sometimes you may want to have a bit of a larger pan to cook more food. The obvious solution would be to have multiple pans for different situations but it may also make sense to just have a single larger pan that may not be ideal for all scenarios but is more versatile. Overall though this is a really nice frypan that I hope will last a long time. Due to its non-stick coating, special care needs to be taken to extend the life of the coating such as using silicone utensils only and being careful to use a soft sponge when cleaning. This makes it a little bit more of a hassle but is important to make sure the pan lasts as long as possible.

I am use to good quality traditional non-stick pans. This is not like anything I have used before, but I seasoned it and used it for the first time yesterday. After using it I am not even sure I needed to season it. Before cooking eggs in it I did spray the pan with PAM. It does say use oil in the pan. Which to me defeats the purpose of a non-stick pan. However if PAM is enough oil to do the trick I am okay with that. It also says you can use melt utensils with the pan, I did not try that. I do season my pans in the oven though so I do know it is oven safe at least up to 375. It did work better or at least the eggs slid around in it better than most non-stick pans that I have used. After months pf use I have not had any difficulty with these pans at all. I can cook in them and wipe them clean with a paper towel. It does say they are dish washer safe, but I have not needed to put them n a dishwasher nor have I ever put non stick in the dishwasher. I have always heard that is not good for them. If a long time ago you bought the green pans they advertised on TV and you hated them because everything stuck to them, these are not those pans> I bought those too and hated them. These are the best non stick pans I have ever had and I have had the "best" or at least the most expensive pans. I have however only used the 8" pan.

I shopped this pan for months! I initially purchased the GreenPan Large Skillet and had to return because it was just too small. They are advertised as the largest pan, made for huge family meals, etc but I don't know what kind of families these people have but this itty bitty skillet will not work for us. I love everything about it except the small size. When the 12" wok with raised sided etc came out I thought this will be so much larger so I purchased it as soon as it was released but no, this will not work for us either. It is not even a standard size wok. It is just small. Nice for a couple or small family but not for a large family or a family with young adults/teenagers. I had purchased a set of fry pans which I love and I also purchased a small pot/skillet set for my daughter's college apartment which I'm sure will be great. I only WISH you made a TRULY LARGE skillet that I could use but sadly this is just not the case and this one will have to go back as well.

We tested the Valencia Pro 8in frypan, and the design is really nice - it looks solid!
I love the chip-free rim, which is a great feature that sets it apart from other pans we've had before.
Love the fact that it's dishwasher safe as well. I also appreciated that the polished stainless steel handle is not hollow, which means water doesn't accumulate in the handle after the pan goes in the dishwasher. Additionally, I'm glad to know that it's made with toxin-free materials.

I also like that the pan is advertised as metal utensils safe, non-stick and induction ready.
The eggs, pancakes & grilled cheese sandwiches we cooked in it turned out great!

The pan came with a helpful sticker that provided quick tips on how to clean the pan and what detergents or sponges to avoid when maintaining it. I haven't heard of the GreenPan brand before, but I'm sold!
