December 27, 2024I came into Avon store 1050 to purchase iPads for Christmas at the Black Friday Price. I encountered Micah Howard, and apologize for missing the survey opportunity but hopefully he still gets recognized. I also shared my experience with his manager as well. Everyone knows how busy and stressful Black Friday shopping can be! Micah was cool as cucumber, and not only pleasant but knowledgeable and accommodating! The store was mostly out of merchandise by the time I visited that evening, but I was still able to purchase the one in stock, and purchase the other two iPads and ship them where they needed to go! As you can imagine with purchasing three iPads, and two having to be ordered and shipped it took quite some time. However, I never felt rushed, and Micah joked and still throughly went over options and storage space options. His attitude never did change, and was just so positive and pleasant the entire time! Best Buy is lucky to have such a wonderful employee especially during the holiday time. I had already got the sense that who he showed is exactly how his character is everyday. My intention is to not review the iPad, but the person who went beyond the necessary job duties to make sure I was not only to purchase the iPads I wanted, but I was satisfied with the entire process! Thank you Micah Howard, and I know this is late, but if there’s another way to review let me know!

December 10, 2024If you don't mind the lightning port and have no gimmicky/advanced needs from the ipad, this is the ipad to get
Shipping: fast
Item condition: brand new product in perfect box
Remarks: this ipad model packaging doesn't have the pull tabs we see on recent iphone packaging, which made me suspicious at first, but plain plastic wrap is how apple does it just for this model.
Product remarks: I have nothing negative to say, this is the perfect ipad to purchase for 90% of ipad users. Touch id is perfect, center stage camera feels like magic, everything is super responsive with the new processor and more ram.
The choice of digital stylus is confusing (only apple pencil 1 and apple pencil USB c are compatible here) I bought a generic stylus from ESR and it does what I want for 3.5x cheaper.
Having moved from a dying (battery) ipad air 2, I have no complaints at all. I couldn't be more satisfied with the device, quality, shopping experience, or the value of this purchase.
Hands down, smartest investment

January 16, 2024I’ve been avid flip phone user since beginning of their introduction. Went through not one but 2 android, Samsung “free” tablets from Verizon. Started enjoying the idea of device other than desk top. Was gifted a non cellular iPad and while it took a little learning curve to switch from Android to Apple, I was soon convinced that Apple had superior function ability for my needs. Upgraded to a cellular iPad after couple years of strictly WiFi usage primarily for business needs. Work is dead zone with no access to Verizon Fios, best option is COX internet and we rarely go a month without extended service interruption. Now I have all my business functions on my cellular iPad and can truly function 100% incase of internet outage at office as well as be 100% mobile/remote. Took three years to use up the 32GB space so this upgrade was for the 256GB and so far, I’m still 100% Team Apple. Needless to say when the flip phone went swimming, I went to iPhone so I have it synched with iPad to get text messages and emails on both devices. The absolute most impressive think to me being a tech dinosaur was my ability to set up my new iPad and transfer EVERY picture and app already installed on previous iPad. It made me feel like an IT expert.

December 10, 2024This IPad is fast even running on my home 5G network or on the 2.4 ghz side. (Dual band for security equipment). The price was too good to resist! My previous I pad was a “renewed” unit and the battery died about a year after I bought it. I suggest you buy one of these new & avoid refreshed, refurbished, renewed products that are old &still have the original battery. They do not automatically install a new battery in those old units. You usually get a tired weak battery. It might be working at 80% now, but remember it has likely been in there for as many as 10 years. Suggest you start off right with brand new IPad that has a new battery. The cost to replace the battery in my 4th generation unit was over $150! So if it lasts 90 days or even a year are you really saving much money buying renewed products? This 9th generation I pad is as good as the 10th unit. I prefer having the home button. I am tossing out the cheap Android tablets too. My Lenovo ( purchased new) is a slug compared to this IPad! They doubled the min storage on this generation compared to generation prior, so 64GB is enough for me. If you start with a brand new unit it easily last until it becomes obsolete. I have no idea what one does with an original IPad? I had a spotless new original generation looking unit I discarded because it couldn’t even handle web browsing on today’s feature filled top pages. Just no resources. I recommend not buying any older generations than this 9th if you can avoid it or at least no older than generation 7 or 8 if you have to. Go for brand new! Display on this unit is better. Cameras are higher megapixels. Just all around better & very close to a 10th gen unit at the top of the heap. Saving $ on a 9th gen over a 10 makes some sense but the older generations do not in most cases.
