Most residents of Little Falls say it’s the wind, but that’s just to make strangers feel safe. The truth is that howling bellow isn’t natural at all. It’s the ghost that has haunted this town since 1919 when a local man was murdered by an angry mob for pilfering food for his starving family during the Great Famine. Now he stalks the town for revenge keeping residents in their homes after dark, forcing them to sleep with the lights on, and tell their children not to go out as the sun sets – especially near the town cemetery.
